We're fighting the war on waste & winning!

If you’re looking for a café and restaurant with sustainable practices to minimise your environmental footprint while eating out, check out our commitment to mother earth.   


  1. We turn our coffee waste into compost which provides nutrients for our café herb and vegetable garden. We use the seasonal produce we grow in the café, which is 100% organic!
  2. Every autumn, we harvest oak leaves from the streets for our vegetable garden to improve our soils naturally. 
  3. Our food scraps are collected daily by a local farmer to feed his pigs. 
  4. We installed solar panels, generating clean, green electricity for the restaurant.  
  5. We reduce plastic anywhere we can and have banned plastic straws, opting for more sustainable bamboo straws instead.  
  6. We are committed to correctly recycling any plastic we cannot avoid.  
  7. Wherever possible, we source products delivered in cardboard produced from recycled paper. We recycle all our cardboard which can be re-recycled many times over.  
  8. We prioritise sustainability sourced produce for our menu.  
  9. To shorten our supply chain, minimise food mileage, and reduce our carbon footprint, we source locally as much as possible.  
  10. We print our menus on recycled paper and have cut down on printed receipts.
